Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be provided in the event the American Red Cross cancels a class, or the participant withdraws five (5) business days prior to the start of a class. After five business days, refunds will be honored only if the participant has a documented emergency circumstance (illness, death in the family). Refunds will not be provided for individuals failing the course, or those not completing the course. If your class is cancelled, you have the option of a refund or transfer to another class. For courses with a pre-test, if the pre-test is not passed, the Red Cross will offer a refund minues a $30 administrative fee. The National American Red Cross requires a minimum of six (6) participants to run a class. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. In the event a course is cancelled, we will make every attempt to notify you. However, you can call 878-2380 the day of the class to confirm any changes. Community Blue members may only take one free class per year on a given topic, multiple attempts to use coverage within a calendar year will be denied by Community Blue, making hte individual member responsible for payment to the American Red Cross, Greater Buffalo Chapter.
