Red Cross assists family of five after devastating fire

The American Red Cross, Greater Buffalo Chapter responded to a fire call during the early hours of Thursday morning on Buffalo's West side, where a family of five watched as their home was devastated by fire damage.

The family, made up of two adults, two children (ages 2 and 4) and a two-week old infant, were given vouchers for hotel stay, food, clothing and baby supplies.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
