Ride for Red Tours Baton Rouge

Jeffrey Greene is riding for the red…that is the American Red Cross. Greene, a lieutenant with the US Navy, is making the trek across the country (California to New York) to raise money for the American Red Cross chapters in Omaha, Nebraska and Buffalo, New York. His 3-month, 4,500-mile bicycle ride took him through Baton Rouge this afternoon where he was able to cross the Mississippi River, view the Capitol Building, Red Stick & USS Kidd as well as view other various landmarks in the area.
