Wine Auction 2007

AMERICAN RED CROSS, GREATER BUFFALO CHAPTER
TO HOST WINE TASTING AND AUCTION

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The American Red Cross, Greater Buffalo Chapter will be hosting a wine tasting and auction on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007 from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at the Clement House, located at 786 Delaware Ave.
“Attendees will enjoy a variety of fine wines for tasting, and outstanding vintages will be available at a silent auction,” Nancy Blaschak, executive director of the Greater Buffalo Chapter, said. “Brodo will be supplying what we can best describe as superb hors d’oeuvres that will complement the wines.”
Attendees will be asked to contribute $75 per person or a gift of equal or greater value. Proceeds and gifts will be used toward securing items for the silent auction that will take place during The BASH, which is the chapter’s signature fund-raising event. The BASH, which last year drew nearly 5,000 people, will take place on June 1 at chapter headquarters on Delaware Ave.
For more information, or to attend the wine taste and silent auction, please call (716) 878-2340 no later than Jan. 23, 2007. Price of admission includes two tickets to The BASH.
The American Red Cross, Greater Buffalo Chapter prepares for, and responds to, community disasters and emergencies and helps people lead safe and healthy lives. The American Red Cross is one of the oldest and largest volunteer driven organizations in the United States and locally depends on the contributions of nearly 800 volunteers to provide its emergency service and health education programs.
