Preparedness show to re-air Wednesday, 10/24

The 30-minute "Be Red Cross Ready" program that aired on October 11 on WKBW-Channel 7, will re-air on its sister station, WNGS -TV Channel 11, Wednesday, October 24 at 9 a.m.

This program focuses on helping families in the Western New York communities become better prepared to avoid or respond to disasters in our area.

With the October Storm only a year behind us, this community is all too familiar with unexpected disasters that can leave neighborhoods without power, water and heat for several days. Make sure you and your loved ones aren't left scrambling in dangerous situations, and are "Red Cross Ready" to handle future storms or disasters -- which also includes individual house fires that affect more than 20,000 Western New Yorkers every year!

Tune in on Wednesday, October 24 at 9 a.m. to ensure that you and your family know how to "Be Red Cross Ready!"
