Greater Buffalo Chapter Responds to Fires


June 22 -- The Greater Buffalo Chapter responded to three residential fires today.  On Sprenger Street, two adults and eight children were affected.  There was one fatality and three injuries.  The Red Cross is providing services.

A fire on Dorris Ave. destroyed the home.  One and adult and one infant were affected.  The Red Cross is supplying lodging, food, clothing and baby supplies.

A fire on Humboldt Pkwy. left two families in need of assistance.  The Red Cross is providing food, clothing and shelter to three adults and four children.
